Visconti really do offer some super man bags, with this one no exception. Its pitched by Visconti as a briefcase case, I do suspect this si because its going to be a little awkward to fit a larger 15" laptop in the main compartment, however a 14" or smaller laptop/net book will easily fit.

The messenger style of man bag is very popular, its so practical, the Visconti 18716 sports a decent length shoulder/over the body strap of around 1.3 metres and a sturdy handle for heavier loads. the stitching on this bag is a lighter shade to give the 'contrast' look. The main flap is lined with suede and the bag interior is fully lined with a matching brown fabric.
Besides the main compartment/pocket, there are several other pockets, these are:
- Two large interior side zipped pockets
- A mobile phone holder
- Two pen holders
- Credit card slots (5)
- Two front buckle/push-locks opening pockets
- A rear outer zipped pocket
The fixtures again are made from brass, you just know when you're dealing with a quality product when you start looking at the fixtures and with this bag, you know its not going waste away in a few weeks time like you get with the cheap material version of man bags.
You really do get what you pay for, the Visconti 18716 man bag really does hit the mark, the RRP on these is just above £100, however we've seen them out there for the £85 mark. Ignoring the quality brown leather, suede and material interior and quality fixtures, the selling point for this bag has to be the exterior pockets for sheer practicality, trying to faff-around for something in one or two main compartments can be a pain, however having the exterior pockets alleviate this. |
